I first met with Amy last year before she moved out to California. We started by creating a magnet save the date using one of their engagement photos. Then, we moved onto designing her pocketfold invitation. I think the one word that describes this invite is “elegant”. The gold leaf pocket and black accents, just make for a classic and sophisticated look. Amy’s mom picked these up on Monday and I’m sure they are on their way out to guests as I type.

The colors of the this invitation and the details on the monogram tag just remind me of water and waves…hence my blog title today. Jen actually had a huge input into the monogram tag design. It’s so different than anything I’ve done before, but I’m so happy I was able to make Jen’s vision for the monogram come to life. Hope you like this folder invitation too!

Mia came to me with a request to use new colors for the “Sweet” design on my website — aqua and light coral. I love the color combo, and it is so different than anything we are designing right now. The final invitation turned out beautifully…and it still keeps with it’s namesake…”sweet”.

We met with Nicole in the Fall of 2007 at a bridal show at Londontown Historic Gardens. We ended up doing some very cute save the date picture magnets for her and then continued working together on invitations. Nicole’s invitation combines a beautiful aqua metallic colored folder style invitation with handmade “sand” paper on the front and a shell design for her monogram. Nicole and her fiance are getting married overlooking the water, so this invitation just fits their wedding perfectly. Enjoy!

I wanted to share and invitation that really stands out from the rest! I just finished these last night and Heather will be picking them up tomorrow. When Heather came in for her invitation consultation, she wanted to combine design elements from a few of the samples we have in our studio. The rundown…a pocket, ribbon corners, shell design and last, but not least…rhinestones! The final result is a unique and striking invitation. Hope you like it too!
