As Seen On – WeddingWire

So, I was browsing posts from fans and friends on Facebook last night and I stumbled across a beautiful inspiration board that WeddingWire.com had posted on their fan site yesterday. It was called “Wow, Orange!” and really caught my eye. I clicked on the picture to make it larger and quickly realized that the first photo at the top was a menu that I designed for a wedding last year!

The theme of the wedding was bright colors — orange, yellow and red — and incorporated bikes (both the bride and groom have biked all over the world) and daisies. Historic Events was the wedding coordinator for the event and thought our design style would fit Sarah and Roger’s wedding perfectly.

So, this seems to be the perfect time to share photos of our work from that wedding, along with the WeddingWire inspiration board! Enjoy!

Sapphire, Clover and Pretty All Over

Allison and her wedding coordinator, Stephanie Courtney from CCI Creative Event Planning, came in to the studio and had the opportunity to meet with my studio manager, Allie, regarding invitations. At the meeting, Allison wanted to include their wedding colors of blue and green…and we actually went back and forth with lighter versions of the colors and finally ended up with the jewel tones of sapphire blue and clover green. Allison also really wanted a design in the corner of the invite, so we incorporated a pretty green design on the inside of the pocket. I just love how the colors work together and create such a pretty picture! Enjoy!

Beauty in a Box

I have to admit, while I love to do designs that are “outside the box”, this invitation that gets mailed “inside a box” is pretty much my fav design right now!!! Jessica came to my studio a few months ago and we started with a very traditional pocket style invitation. Once she got home, though, she was searching through old blog posts and found an invitation with a circle rhinestone buckle and fell in love. Well, after a few tweaks with the color choices, we came up with this final design. This beautiful invitation is sure to make an impression on her guests. I can’t wait until she picks these up next week! Enjoy!

Destined for Turquoise

Lesya and David had a destination wedding in December in Turks and Caicos. The theme was a turquoise…so pretty…and matched the color of the water in Grace Bay Beach. Lesya saw my fan programs on Etsy and emailed me…we quickly realized that she lived in the same town as our studio! Small world! We had the honor of designing their programs, menus and then upon their return, we created custom thank you notes with a beautiful picture form their wedding. Enjoy!
