This week I’m working on a very special project…I have an important presentation next week…at my twins’ preschool class! It’s called, “Parent Sharing” and each parent gets to talk a little bit about what they do! Well, in putting together my colorful picture board for the kids, I thought that some of the pictures might be nice for all of my followers to see too! I know a lot of brides aren’t local to Annapolis and we work completely over email. And, others might just be curious about the inner workings of the studio. So, here are some pictures to give you a peak into the studio! Enjoy!

Jen & Ken
Yep, my clients are Jen & Ken and when you have names that rhyme, you have to use them on your invite…so, take a look at their custom monogram. Also, love the raspberry swirls cardstock in the backing, along with the espresso brown pocket and raspberry ribbon band. So pretty!! We really enjoyed designing these invitations for them…and they had fun with the titles for the insert cards in the pocket — Be Our Guest (for response), Eat Drink and Be Married (for reception), Come Stay with Us (accommodations) and Find Your Way (directions). I love when clients put their personal touches into the invite! Enjoy!

Wrap Up…Tremont “Design Your Day”
It was a great day at the “Design Your Day” event at the Tremont! Our room was beautiful…citrus and summer…orange and green…lush florals and decor. Drew Vanlandingham did an awesome job with the design and we were very happy to reveal our fun new menu and place card designs to coordinate with the room.
The menus were actually a screen printed plastic overlay…with the menu printed on white pearl behind and top with “puffs” of orange satin ribbon. The place cards were tied to the back of each chair with a lime satin ribbon in the same theme and colors. Love this look and can’t wait for the perfect client to use the same idea for their big day!
Below are some pictures from the day and of our table too. Enjoy! Special thanks to Hamilton Photography for asking us to be with them in the Doric room.

Sea Glass Invite
I’ve named this invite “Sea Glass” because the light aqua and soft ivory remind me a sea glass lying on the beach. The punch of raspberry pink just finishes off this folder perfectly. When Andrea met with me, she told me that she wanted her wedding to have the feel and colors of the beach and sea glass. Well, this invite has fit the bill! Enjoy!

As Seen In…Style Me Pretty
It has been a busy and exciting week in the studio! We’ve got lots of orders going out to girls, designs are flowing and we’re blushing because Andrea and Mike’s wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty! What an honor to have our invitations, programs and table names pictured and featured…so great! Andrea and Mike were such a great couple to work with…and we did it ALL over email, since they were in San Francisco. Hope you enjoy this article as much as we did!
