New Year’s Eve is always a magical night…the parties, the fireworks, champagne and tuxedos! So, what better night than December 31st, to have your wedding…you get all of the above, plus a hubby (or wife) too! This year we had three couples getting married on New Year’s Eve, so I was over the moon to get these great photos from Emily Chastain Photography.
Jessica and Chris got married at the Westin Hotel in Annapolis. We started working with Jessica months before the big day on her black and white pocket style invitation. She really knew exactly what she wanted, even at our first meeting, and we just rolled through the design process so easily. With a classic black pocket, black swirls patterned paper and a modern monogram design, their invitation really set the tone for this beautiful wedding. We also designed matching stationery for the big day, including menus, escort cards and table numbers too.
Hope you enjoy these amazing photos of our work and this beautiful couple too!

Okay, this is probably the most excited I have been in a LONG time! I have been on pins and needles since Sunday waiting for these photos. And, by the way, that was not long to wait…at all…because Elizabeth Ryan Photography did the most amazingly fast and awesome editing job!!! I could probably blab on and on about how wonderful and memorable Sunday’s {Love the Dress} session was for me, Tom and the kids, but really, just look at the photos…they tell the whole story. (Oh and my editorial comments that come with the photos below help too. Ha!) My eternal gratitude to Liz and Ryan for capturing everything…you rock…we “heart” you! Oh and be sure to check Elizabeth Ryan Photography’s blog today (this afternoon, probably) for their wrap up on the shoot, along with more photos — if we didn’t pick the same ones!

Beautiful flowers by Intrigue Design and Decor!

Holding our wedding photo from almost 10 years ago! Awh!

Love + snuggles + paper flowers = my version of heaven!

The wedding dress…10 years later…after losing 80 pounds to fit back in it again!

The “ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!” shot…amazing!!

The groom wore chucks…

The bride wore boots…

One is sweet and the other is seriously amazing!

The whole family!

That’s us…laughing…love…period.

Wow! That’s me?!?!?

Smolder much? (File this under: “things I don’t do on a daily basis”)

Alone…ahhh…well, not so much…

Love and love coming to get us!

The Renewal Date!!!

Time has been good to us!
There is so much more…but I have to stop somewhere. Besides, I need to sit here and look at these pictures a few hundred more times. And, just in case you didn’t get it from the photos above…even 10 years later…I still {Love the Dress}.

I originally photos of Karen and Rory’s wedding on Bayside Bride and knew I had to contact the wonderful photographer Kristen Gardner to get more photos, so we could share this wedding on our blog too! I met with Karen and her mom last year — so sweet, so happy and so ready to have the perfect, classic wedding. The black and ivory color scheme was brought out in all items we designed for Karen and Rory…and take note of how the black satin ribbon corners are repeated on the invite and wedding program. Love the classic simplicity of this wedding and so happy to share with you…enjoy!

Megan met with me a few months ago to design her wedding invitations. She wanted a very classic, black and white invitation with a touch of ribbon. We designed a double border with lines and dots that was carried out through her response and insert cards. I just love the elegant look of this invite. Perfect for a black tie wedding! Enjoy!
