I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures of our work from 2011. This has been an amazing year filled with styled shoots, collaborations with great vendors, new designs, open houses, lots of shows, hundreds of brides and more cardstock than I even want to count. So, without further words…I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Can’t wait for 2012!

“Charlie” the Crab and Anchors Aweigh!

Nautical Love!
I was so excited when I received an email from Jeanne a few weeks ago. Why? Well, because she did what I always ask my clients to do….she took one of her invitations with her to the wedding and had her photographer do some “glam” shots of the invite. And, these photos are just so fun! Love! Thanks to Jeanne and Owen for sharing these wonderful shots of our invite design. Enjoy!

TV Time Again!
This morning, I had another appearance on WBFF Fox 45 morning news to share some fun style of invitations and promote the Baltimore Bridal Show this Sunday. In the past, I’ve stressed over these two minute interviews, but I think experience was key this morning! It was so nice seeing so many familiar faces…my meet and greet contact, the camera operators and of course Patrice and Megan and the rest of the on screen crew at Fox. So, I knew what to expect (perhaps 4th time is a charm) and was ready, mic-ed up and on camera in no time. Patrice and I reviewed the five invites that I brought today, talked about some trends and wrapped up with our $500 giveaway! Here are so pics from the interview (thanks to my supportive hubby for taking them for me) and a video clip will follow soon!

Bismarck Palm Invite
This invite has a long story attached to it and I finally think it is time to share! So, last year, this really energetic and upbeat couple came into to meet with me. Sandra and Dimitri were so fun and excited about their wedding. Since Dimitri owns a palm tree landscaping company, they wanted their invite, for their Kiawah Island wedding, to represent their favorite palm tree! How cute! So, I got to design my very first Bismarck palm.

**Here is the bismarck palm in real life…and my design further down.**
So, when Sandra came in to pick up her save the dates, Allie realized that Sandra is actually Sandra Shaw, meterologist on WBAL – TV 11 in Baltimore. Surprise! :) We had one of those “moments” in the studio. And, we were so honored that she picked us to design her wedding stationery.
Since their wedding, Sandra and Dimitri have moved to Florida and she is now working for a news station down there. We miss her sunny smile in Maryland, but her invitation is just as bright! Hope you enjoy this new pocket. And, remember, picking something special that represents you is a great way to make your wedding invite unique and special…and makes a great story too!
