I thought it would be fun to put together a post filled with red, white and blue, just for the Fourth of July! I also included some more sneak peek photos from the wonderful JLowe Photos. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and we will be back with lots of fun stuff, including guest blog posts, in anticipation of our big Stop by Sunday event on July 10th! Enjoy!

I have to share this save the date that Michelle and her mom picked up this past Saturday. Michelle met with me before the holidays to talk about her save the date and invitations. We dicussed a classic design with Fall colors, like copper, golds, ivory and chocolate. For the save the date, Michelle and I discussed two ideas, but when she saw the sample, she wanted to see what it would look like with a gold leaf top layer and copper backing — with copper and chocolate text. Wahoo! I’m glad she mentioned it, because the final look is so beautiful! And, when Michelle and her mom saw them in person, they loved them…so much so that her mom took a picture with Michelle holding it, right there in the studio! So happy that we made both of them so happy! Can’t wait to get working on the invites. Enjoy!

Tiffany and Tucker are getting married in August at the United States Naval Academy chapel. I was so excited to work on Tiffany’s save the dates and invitations, because she is using a very creative color combination of royal blue and bright orange. And, we used some modern fonts…and of course, my hand sketch of the Naval Academy dome. The final design is fresh and fun! Can’t wait to work on their invites! Enjoy!

This is a brand new save the date design and I’m sure it is going to be popular! Megan (the bride) is actually friends with one of my “crew”. Kaitlin, my master assembly artist, is Megan’s sorority big sister and we’ve been itching to design the stationery for her wedding! So, when Megan called me and said she really wanted a paisley design in purple, I was off and running. This new patterned cardstock is a great addition to the design and the bold paisley elements on the right side really pop off the card. Of course, this design can be created in any color or colors — can’t wait to hear what Megan is thinking for her invite! Stay tuned…
