I have to admit that I’ve been waiting for these photos…patiently…um, okay, not so patiently, since Sarah from Intrigue, who did the florals and decor, sent me some quick pics from the set up on the big day. But, when Amber sent me the link to the pro pics from Amy Martin Photography, I was in heaven!! So worth the wait.
Amber and Nick were married on August 8, 2010 at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Obviously we designed their stationery with a starfish theme in mind…and the starfish even carried into the aisle, where Intrigue used flower petals to make swirly starfish on the grass..so cool! For the stationery, we included sand colors with turquoise and lime green to put together a pretty summer color palette. We also added a little sparklet to the stationery with beautiful lime green Swarovski crystals. Really, this wedding was just so beautiful and the couple are just as perfect.
Special thanks to Amy Martin for the awesome detail shots of our work…you made our designs sing! Enjoy the photos to follow…

Whether it is nautical or beach inspired, the use of natural rope to tie around a wedding invitation is so adorable and perfect for couples who are “tying the knot”. (Get the joke?! Okay, so I beat you over the head with it…) Danielle and Michael are getting married at one of our favorite venues, the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in October. The main color of the wedding is deep plum purple and Danielle wanted to incorporate a starfish into the invite. The rope knot really add a special and unique touch to this invite. Enjoy!

Okay, I am in love with jungle green and navajo…together! Take a look at this pretty pocket invite for Amber and Nicholas. When Amber and her mom came to meet with me, Amber brought these two tiny pieces of green and blue material, so we could match them to her invite. After a few options, we decided that jungle green ribbon and navajo cardstock were the perfect matches. She loved our popular starfish pocket and especially the sand color, so I was off and running with this great design. Throw in an olivine Swarovski crystal on top and you have the perfect summer invitation. Love, sweet love…enjoy!
