Gabriela & Woodney :: Real Wedding

So, I have to say that working with Gabriela and Woodney was a wonderful experience.  Although we never got to meet in person, we “talked” via email for over a year and after working on their save the dates, invites and wedding day stationery, I was over the moon to receive the link to the blog post featuring their wedding photos by Jeri Houseworth Photography.

This couple is absolutely adorable together!  You can help but see the love pouring off of them in waves.  Seeing everything come together for them on their big day was amazing.  I love it all…from the parasols to the shutters holding the escort cards…ah, beautiful!

Enjoy these pics of the items that we designed for the big day, along with some cute couple shots!  Oh, and be sure to check out that full blog post above by Jeri…you will fall in love too!  Enjoy!

Real Wedding :: Karen & Rory :: 01.08.11

I originally photos of Karen and Rory’s wedding on Bayside Bride and knew I had to contact the wonderful photographer Kristen Gardner to get more photos, so we could share this wedding on our blog too!  I met with Karen and her mom last year — so sweet, so happy and so ready to have the perfect, classic wedding.  The black and ivory color scheme was brought out in all items we designed for Karen and Rory…and take note of how the black satin ribbon corners are repeated on the invite and wedding program.  Love the classic simplicity of this wedding and so happy to share with you…enjoy!

Megan & Chris :: Real Wedding :: Paradise!

I’m so excited to share these pictures from a gorgeous real wedding in paradise! Megan and Chris were married on May 14th in Playa de Carmen, Mexico. We had the pleasure of designing their invitation and also, all of their wedding day paper too! Megan was one of those brides who knew what she wanted and it really helped move along the process. She was savvy on colors and patterns and was very involved in ensuring her vision came to life.

We started with their formal invitation that had a charcoal grey theme with brocade patterned cardstock. The paper took a fun turn for the wedding day, where we used the same brocade pattern cardstock, but in a bright yellow-orange color. All of the wedding day elements, just came together perfectly…from the table numbers, to the place card tags that were tied onto starfish, to my personal favorite, the recipe booklet for a favor! I’m still droolling over the recipes in this book…and have to admit…I stole one for myself.

So, feel free to drool over these pictures too…of Megan and Chris’ wedding in paradise! Enjoy!

When a plan comes together…

This weekend I had one of those moments when I thought…wow…I just love it when a plan comes together.  Let me explain…so, a week ago, Diana from Eventi Planning emails me and asks if I can design some paper for the tablescape she is putting together for her booth at the Baltimore Bridal Show.  As some of you know, I love doing these collaborations, mostly because I can try out new and fun ideas!  Well, Diana gave me a few tidbits…purple, grey, touches of yellow…vintage with a hint of mod.   That’s it!  So, I had a couple ideas and went to town.  What I came up with was so fun and different that I just loved it.  Now, I had no idea if it would mesh with what Diana was envisioning, because, seriously, I only had six real descriptive words to describe her vision.  But, when I saw the whole table come together, I was so over the moon!  It’s great when two people can bring together something so cool with six words…enjoy!

A little bit of this…

…and a little bit of that!  It’s been a long time since we’ve posted some of our accessories designs.  I feel like I’m always “talking invite”, but it’s nice to go back and take a look at some of the wedding day stationery that we have designed for our clients.  Keep in mind that most of the time, our accesories designs can be done without an “in studio” meeting.  So, we can work via email to design the perfect wedding day programs, place cards, table numbers, menus and more!  Enjoy!
